Our office is staffed with trained personnel who are experienced in the key fields of recruitment selection and matching personnel to the needs of clients. This successful combination has resulted in many contract staff being taken on in staff positions by satisfied clients.
We visit new clients to gain an understanding of their working environment so we can fully explain to our candidates the position requirements.
Temporary / Permanent Employment Contracts
We provide the complete employment and contract service; a team or a temp, a draughtsman or craftsman, a professional engineer for a year or a
secretary for a week. All disciplines are covered; no job is too big or too small. The major strength of Petrogramme has always been our ability
to recognise client’s requirements and provide an impartial, professional service with integrity, honesty and commitment which leads to regular
business from clients.
If your vacancy required an immediate start we aim to send across candidate details within 30 minutes. If you do not have time to review CV’s you can trust us to send someone straight over to you, knowing that from the information you have given us on the position we will provide you with a suitable candidate.
If your position is to start the next day we endeavour to provide you with candidates CVs within 1-2 hours. For a position to start in one week we target to provide you with a selection of suitable candidates details within 24 hours.
For a permanent position we will work within your timeframe to fulfil your recruitment objectives and secure a successful appointment. All we need is a job specification from you – if you do not have one we will take all the necessary details from you and if you require we will visit your premises.
Finding you the right person for the job
Team work is at the heart of our ethos; our Recruitment Consultants know working together and pooling skills result in a more efficient and
prompt service. When you call us with a vacancy we can guarantee at least 2 Recruitment Consultants will be working on your vacancy.
If we cannot locate a suitable candidate from our extensive database and we need to advertise the position we can:
- Prepare advertisement text and layout
- Select media
- Proof read
- Deal with responses to advertising
- Receive candidates applications
- Review candidates CV’s
- Shortlist candidates for interview
- Write to unsuccessful candidates
- Write to candidates for interview
- Plan and conduct interviews
- Decide on shortlist of candidate for client interviews
- Arrange interview appointment
With our in house payroll system we can offer a flexible and tailored service whilst maintaining total control. We run weekly and monthly payrolls and can pay on a PAYE or Limited basis. We also have clients who outsource their payroll to us enabling them to free up their valuable time. The rate we charge our client includes the workers hourly rate, an element of holiday pay (for PAYE workers) which we accrue for them, the National Insurance contributions that have to be made and our mark up; which includes the insurances we have.
- We are also an approved Norwegian employer and can payroll personnel working away in Norway.
Job Applications / CVs
We receive CV’s and application forms from a variety of candidates’ everyday. Due to the location of some candidates it is difficult to meet in person with them; therefore we conduct telephone interviews.
- We are members of the REC and adhere to the Agency Workers Regulations.
Tailored services to suit your requirements
As an independently owned agency we have the flexibility to offer our clients a bespoke service. You can have a temp through us for a week and decide you want to take them on permanently, this is fine by us we would simply charge you a highly competitive finders fee. The longer you keep the person though us and then take them on permanently the more the fee will reduce. You can ask us to find you someone on a temporary to permanent basis; that way you have the freedom to try the person out. For a straight permanent position we would only charge you a finder’s fee.
